It never truly dawned on me how awful they managed to make everyone look, even with the animation being quite consistent. Other than the ending of this episode, which features Pan essentially hijacking the ship, almost nothing worth mentioning happens, except of course the reintroduction of some classic characters, and man did they mess this up. Satan, and some very predictable and unfunny segments, featuring Goku being "kidnapped". While this episode would ideally consist of Goku's family and friends preparing for their next great adventure, we instead get Pan going out to a cafe with Mr. For starters, I find it amazing that a show with no reference material is already padding out episodes. So when I see an episode like this, you sort of get where people are coming from. Due to a slip of the tongue, Pilaf is once again denied world domination and Gokuu is instead turned back into a child. During the final stages of Uub’s training, Gokuu’s old foe Emperor Pilaf infiltrates the Lookout to make a wish on the Black Star Dragon Balls. Dragon Ball GT takes place five years after Gokuu left to train his apprentice Uub, whose training is now complete.
But these Dragon Balls have a fatal secret: if not collected within one year Earth will be destroyed. His desire that Goku once again become a child! Not daunted by this small setback, Goku, together with Trunks, and his own granddaughter Pan, blast off into the outer reaches of space in search of the mysterious Blackstar Dragon Balls. But Goku soon finds himself helpless against the mystical power of the Dragon Balls and an accidental wish made by the devious Emperor Pilaf. Ten years have passed since Goku left his friends and family to hone his skills.
